Key Account Manager - Germany/European Business (m/f/d)

HIS Renewables GmbH is a specialized manufacturer of cable assemblies, electrical cabinets, inline-fuses, solar cable, PV-connectors, storage and EV charging and custom-designed solar power applications.

  • Worldwide supply of approx. 5,5 GW solar power per year.
  • 350 employees at our family-owned group, headquartered in Germany. Subsidiaries and Sales Offices in Spain, France, Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina & Poland.

Our team of professionals work closely with our customers to provide them with system solutions for all their solar needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; Analysing trends and results for Germany and further selected international markets with. You have full responsibility for sales and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Supporting selected international EPC-companies and PV-components producer to implement our wide portfolio into their project requirements.
  • Recognize customer potential, analyse and develop enhancing measurements and strategies to exploit customer´s potential.
  • Achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.

Your profil

  • Bachelor´s degree business administration or commercial education with technical affinity, or technical education or Bachelor´s degree in electrical engineering or similar, with mind-set for Sales
  • Experiences and strong network in photovoltaic and solar industry
  • Languages: Native Speaker German, additionally fluent in English. Additional language is a plus.


  • Expertise in sales of products and solutions needing technical explanations.
  • Recognize USP`s and convey them to the customer in a results-oriented manner as „consultative value selling“.
  • You have teamwork skills and assertiveness, communication and contact skills, enthusiasm and persuasiveness, as well as negotiating skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
